Description
AFC is seeking applications for one full-time Engineer/Senior Engineer position in the Electromagnetics Group at our facility in Ocala, Florida. The ideal candidate will have design and practical experience in RF/microwave/antenna engineering, working closely with the President and existing Electromagnetics Group to design and validate products to meet customer requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in RF/Microwave/Antenna Engineering (Ph.D. desirable but not required)
- Must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willing to relocate to Ocala, Florida
- Experience with microwave components, antenna products, and radomes
- In-depth understanding of microwave network analysis and antenna theory
- Experience with microwave network analyzers and measurement instruments
- In-depth understanding of dielectric material properties and dielectric constant testing
- Good understanding of wave propagation and attenuation effects
- Knowledge of scattering theory and S-parameter measurements
- Highly conversant with Matlab/Mathematica and ability to develop programming code
- Familiarity with 3D EM analysis tools (EMPro experience highly desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clear a background check with no prior convictions or arrests
Responsibilities
- Perform RF measurements and prepare technical reports and memos for customer projects
- Work with engineering and marketing departments on technical proposals
- Participate in design review meetings and factory acceptance testing
- Provide technical support for manufacturing, QC, and CAD departments
- Support continuous product improvement and new technology development
- Communicate and collaborate with the mechanical engineering team
- Create and develop computer programs for analysis and design tasks
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with composite materials
- Familiarity with anechoic chambers
- Understanding of space frame/sandwich radomes
- Past experience with DoD projects
Description

The ideal candidate will have design and practical experience in structural/mechanical engineering, performing FEA analysis to support the design and development of radome products.
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering (Ph.D. desirable but not required)
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Willing to relocate to Ocala, Florida
- Experience with structural design and finite element analysis (FEA)
- In-depth understanding of mechanics and FEA theory
- In-depth understanding of material properties and material testing
- Experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor desirable)
- Highly conversant with Matlab/Mathematica and ability to develop programming code
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clear a background check with no prior convictions or arrests
Responsibilities
- Perform FEA analysis for radome structures and related accessories
- Prepare technical reports and memos for customer projects
- Work with engineering and marketing departments on technical proposals
- Participate in design review meetings and factory acceptance testing

Description
AFC is seeking a Program Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple customer projects from inception to delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, with the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willing to relocate to Ocala, Florida
- Proven experience managing engineering or manufacturing programs/projects
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to clear a background check with no prior convictions or arrests
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer programs
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and status reports
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, QC, and marketing
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
- Participate in proposal preparation and contract review
- Facilitate design review meetings and customer acceptance testing
- Ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction for all assigned programs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
Desirable Experience
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Experience with DoD or government contracts
- Familiarity with radome, antenna, or RF/microwave products
- Experience in a small business or manufacturing environment
Description
The General Production Worker performs a variety of tasks under close supervision of higher-level employees and assists in the manufacturing process of radome products. This role involves operating equipment, assembling fiberglass materials, and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
Requirements / Skills / Abilities
- 18 years old or older
- Able to listen, understand, and follow directions
- Desire to work in a safe and positive manufacturing environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and in a variety of roles
- Attention to detail and good time management skills
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous manufacturing experience (beneficial)
- Job training provided by department trainer
Duties / Responsibilities
- Operate assigned equipment and/or assemble hand-laid fiberglass materials
- Follow all work instructions in the fabrication and assembly area
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
- Follow all safety rules, production guidelines, and specifications
- Maintain production standards and work toward improving productivity without compromising quality
- Perform other duties as assigned
